Tooling that respects the way researchers actually work.
DataImpel began with a challenge that any researcher will recognise: the gap between doing the analysis and assembling the deck is wider than it should be, and most "AI for research" products have made it worse rather than better by summarising away the evidence the work depends on.
We're building a workbench specifically for market research and insights teams. Not a dashboard. Not a chatbot bolted onto a survey tool. A continuous workflow from raw survey data to a branded PowerPoint deck, with the AI doing the assembly and the researcher doing the deciding.
The product is shaped by the people we build it with: senior analysts and research consultants at agencies, and insights leads at brands.
Four commitments that shape the product.
01
Cite your sources
Every AI-written sentence in DataImpel is grounded in a table, a verbatim or a stat. If we can't show you where a claim came from, we don't make the claim.
02
Brand is not optional
Research is a deliverable business. Decks need to look like the agency or the in-house team. Branding is built into the workflow, not bolted on at export.
03
AI assists, humans decide
Auto-grouping, auto-analysis and auto-commentary are starting points. Every step is editable, auditable and overridable by the researcher.
04
Earn the workflow
We build across the study lifecycle, from ingestion through analysis and reporting to re-use, rather than owning one step and handing the rest back. Which parts of it a team uses is theirs to choose.
